Bravo Whisky Golf is based in North Berwick, a stunning coastal golf town just 30 minutes east of Edinburgh. We specialise in luxury bespoke golf expeditions which are escorted golf-focused adventures for small, discerning groups across the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe. Each expedition is entirely tailored, limited only by our guests’ vision (and budget) and our creativity.

Our vision was to transform the golf tour industry

Our adventures range from high-energy experiences off the beaten track with helicopter transfers, RIB boat excursions, climbing, sports cars, and even surfing—to more refined low octane pursuits like vintage malt whisky tastings, theatre, Chi Gung, luxury shopping and fine dining. Our aim is to take luxury bespoke golf expeditions to another level and we have achieved that.

We were inspired to challenge the mundane

We wanted to change the predictable and conventional golfing tours

Our vision was to transform the golf tour industry, which we saw as stale and unimaginative — groups of male golfers shuttled between the same courses and hotels on luxury coaches: predictable and conventional. We were determined to challenge the mundane. We wanted to create Bravo Whisky Golf to be something completely different, challenging the mentality of mainstream touring.

I love every aspect of what I do

From the excitement of the initial brief to crafting something truly unique and tailored through to the meticulous planning. I love working through every scenario and possibility. But the greatest joy comes from escorting our guests to our favourite secret destinations, introducing them to incredible people and witnessing their enjoyment and satisfaction firsthand. What’s my superpower? I have an explorer’s perspective, always looking for the hidden and the unexpected.

One of the most memorable experiences

A father-and-son golfing expedition

A special trip before the son departed overseas for a few years. They stayed at an exclusive private castle near Crail — we have unique access. They played rounds at nearby Elie and Balcormie Links. The Tower owners invited their son (of a similar age) and our guests to a black-tie dinner. To mark the occasion, we dressed our American guests in full Highland attire, adding to the authentic Scottish experience.
